The Oak Island Mystery has intrigued people for 224 years.  Due to the wide range of publications that have reported on the mystery, each generation of searchers have received many theories from folks around the world.  The theories and ideas on technology are fairly consistent through each generation.
The Curse of Oak Island TV series has sparked great imagination for many new to the mystery.  The owners and their team of researchers have spent countless hours reviewing old theories and researching new ones.  From Templars, to Acadians; Pirates to basic industrial endeavours, what is missing, is the smoking gun... The one document that outlines, in detail and clarity, the what, who, when, why and how of the workings on Oak Island.
All emails are read, however due to the high volume, if the theory or technology is known by or has been previously researched by the owners and their team, there will be no response email.  Please do not send repeat emails

LIDAR: Was completed in 2016 and is available on the GeoNova website.
METAL DETECTING:  Metal detecting happens under a Heritage Research Permit, each year.  The Archeologist submits this and the amount of detecting will remain manageable by one or two experienced persons with island knowledge.
VOLUNTEERS:  Offers are received daily by people wishing to help with the research and  physical work efforts on Oak Island.  The owners, their families and close associates, both on and off screen, are able to manage the work required.    From time to time, people with accredited skill sets, in research or technology, become involved in very specific areas.
